Student Voice: The key element to improve school culture

So often the adults in a school environment believe that they have an accurate pulse on student perception.  When students are given the opportunity to share their voice they feel respected.  That alone will create a shift in school culture.  The most important way to make sure students want to visit the library is to ask them how you can make it a safe and pleasant place for them.

Session Targets- Participants
1.  Will understand the current reality of student demographics
2.  Will hear about the importance of reciprocal respect
3.  Will learn ways to activate student voice to create a space students want to visit
